Brooks Running, an established running shoe and apparel company based out of Seattle, underwent a huge visual identity update that launched in early 2024. It was my task to take the updated brand expression and create a homepage takeover to announce the launch to the public. In the beginning of the project, we experimented with tossing out the current site structure entirely but capabilities eventually pinned us to the established modules. “Let’s Run There”, the first Brooks brand campaign under the new brand expression, describes a company built in 1914 that is continuing to move and grow in its 110th year. This idea of constantly moving was the main inspiration for the design of the homepage takeover.
