KUOW approached DCG ONE with the task to create a brand awareness campaign during the 2020 election season. Their goal was to stand out as an authority on all things election related and to provide trustworthy current information to the public. In other words, KUOW wanted to combat the notion of “fake news”. Our solution featured a series of contrasting wordplays to keep the regional news station top of mind during the elections. The idea was to highlight what KUOW will be providing while showing its dichotomy in the shadows. This transit campaign featured bus ads, wraps and station posters.
